Call Centre Calculator Version 1.0 Written by Robert Pratten The "users" I had in mind were call centre managers, consultants or sales people that wanted to work flexibly with data gathered from clients or ACDs and call loggers. This is the first version of a program I intend to develop further. I thought that rather than proceed too far, I'd solicit some feedback and then continue. I expect that subsequent versions will include options for calculating staffing costs and toll-free/toll-shared (e.g. 0800/0345) costs. My e-mail address is: robert@schema.demon.co.uk Most of the menu options should be self explanatory. However, there are four things to watch: (a) notice that call durations can be entered in minutes or seconds (b) you need to say how many units (e.g. Mins or Secs) are in the calculated period (c) how many calls arrive in this period. (d) all results and entries are carried between calculations. For example, Time units: Secs Avg Call duration: 140 (seconds) No. of time units in period: 3600 (e.g 3600 seconds = 1 hour) Number of calls in period: 1200 (e.g 1200 calls per hour) or, exactly the same: Time units: Mins Avg Call duration: 2.3 (minutes) No. of time units in period: 60 (e.g 60 minutes = 1 hour) Number of calls in period: 1200 (e.g 1200 calls per hour)
